Continuing its road, on 9 March 2018, 2nd edition of the BUILDINTEREST Roadshow, BUILDINTEREST: Towards a greener sustainable building sector – issues and solutions, featured more than 100+ participants connected to the energy efficiency and sustainable building sector in Paris, Bpifrance Hub.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Sustainable Building Plan of the Ministry of Ecology and Bpifrance, brought together multiple international actors from key decision makers, policy regulators, investors, business angels and many others, with one goal: to create and expand the opportunities for investments in the energy efficiency building innovations of tomorrow.
During the day, the BUILDINTEREST Roadshow in Paris gave participants the opportunity to discover the good practices and methods, developed during the course of the project, by the three BUILDINTEREST financial platforms, BUILD LAB, EuroQuity and Green Build Invest Initiative, who presented many concrete strategies with examples of achievements in facilitating interactions between stakeholders on every chain level.
In addition to showcasing new financial solutions from France, Italy and the Netherlands, the highlight of the day gave the stage to 20 of the most promising startups in the sector, opening the doors for collaboration and partnerships. The selected top SMEs pitched their technology in front of the audience to find new business opportunities, new customers, partner with large companies and institutions, transforming the Paris Roadshow edition into true networking success helping drive the ongoing commitment to entrepreneurs.
At the end, the event stressed the importance of some of the hottest topics and developments throughout Europe: Private players access the renovation market and Energy performance in new buildings – How to meet the Paris agreement objectives? in interactive roundtable sessions led by Ministry of Ecological Transition, French Federation of Real Estate Agents, Greenflex, Smart Building Alliance, KIC Innoenergy, Cerway, Pouchain, UNEP Financial Initiative, Climate Strategy & Partners. The major and ambitious role of energy efficient building on the world innovation scene was confirmed.
